Thanks for posting Ernie. I'll have a listen when as soon as I can find a spare hour.
Late last year I attended a Brooklyn Rider concert at Koerner Hall. They were playing with Bela Fleck on Banjo so a bit eclectic. I was close to the front and the two violins and viola looked very similar in build.
I talked to the performers later and found out they were made by Sam Z as a quartet and the cello was currently being played by Yo Yo Ma. They were terrific sounding instruments. The two violins were based on a large strad and a grand Amati pattern.
A real treat.

| The only thing was that the video didn't show the slides that Sam was showing the audience. Otherwise, a really nice talk by Sam (in my opinion). |
