I'm fitting the feet on a cello bridge and i usally don't use a bridge spreader becuase i'm not sure what the correct tension should be. if you don't use the spreader right you end up with your bridge feet slightly off.

What's the correct tesion or how many turns should i give it?

Hi, To simulate the load of the strings on the bridge, use a bridge spreader or even a stick to spread the base of the feet 1 to 1.5mm.
