Anyone have An idea what to do with rosin that is dry .
Any way to put a little moisture back . Or is it get a new one
Has a block ever been used to the end ? Ken

If you get into rehairing or even cleaning the bowhair, old scraps of rosin can be crushed into powder and rubbed into the fresh hair to recharge the bow, so to speak, sort of like priming a pump.

I've found over time that old rosin attracts moisture, and it gets sticky.

File it away in the circular file and get a new one.
Or crush it up very fine and use it in the re-hairing of bows.
