1- what glue do you use to glue the screw shaft into the ebony core of the button?
2- What glue do you use to glue the metal sleeve covering the Ebony core of the button

Not sure it matters a whole lot... but what are the opinions?... i'm leaning to epoxy

You know there's a bow forum right here? It seems moderately active.

I've seen super glue used for both of those jobs. I'm pretty sure that 100 years ago they didn't have either, though. :-)

Thanks Michael... yes I know, I thought I was in the bow forum when I posted but I guess by midnight I am not too alert! thought I would leave it as I am sure most bow folks also read this forum.... after all this was not a question with huge consequences!
