Not anymore! It got stripped off with the rest of the varnish.

pmccombs: International Violin -- does the 2 oz bottle do a whole violin? What ratio of turpentine to varnish do you use to dilute? It looks perfect. Thank you for the recommendation!

I decided to go ahead with the refinish while I wait on the new bridge and strings and such to get here in the mail.

Just bought a "Made in Nippon" Suzuki violin on ebay for a VSO price. Playing it out of the box, I made my own skin crawl. Terrible, terrible sounds.
